Samsung confirms Galaxy Unpacked event date – New foldables to be unveiled July 9

Last week, well-known leakster Evan Blass claimed that Samsung would hold its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9 to showcase its latest foldable devices. That claim has now been confirmed – Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 9.

The event will be held in Brooklyn, New York, starting at 10AM ET. It will also be livestreamed on Samsung’s official website and YouTube channel.

Samsung hasn’t revealed how many devices it plans to introduce. The company only stated that the "next-generation Galaxy devices are being reimagined around a new AI-powered interface", supported by breakthrough hardware to unlock their full potential.

In the teaser video, the phrase "Ultra Unfolds" appears near the end, hinting that Samsung may reveal a foldable Galaxy Ultra model. However, rumors suggest this is unlikely.

While Samsung didn’t name specific models, leaks suggest the company will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, and the Galaxy Watch8 series during the event.
